The Bombardier Challenger 300 (BD-100) is a super-midsize business jet developed by Bombardier Aerospace and certified in 2003. It was designed to offer long-range performance with a spacious stand-up cabin, bridging the gap between midsize and large-cabin jets. Powered by two Honeywell HTF7000 turbofan engines, the Challenger 300 can carry up to 10 passengers with a range of approximately 5,741 km (3,100 nm). It features an advanced glass cockpit with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. The aircraft entered service in 2004 and proved commercially successful in the fractional ownership and charter markets. Bombardier later developed the improved Challenger 350 variant, which entered service in 2014 with upgraded engines and enhanced performance.
