The Embraer Phenom 100 is a very light jet (VLJ) developed by Brazilian manufacturer Embraer and introduced in 2008. Designed for private and fractional ownership markets, it seats up to four passengers in a club-style cabin and is operated by a single pilot. It competes in the entry-level business jet segment alongside aircraft such as the Cessna Citation Mustang. The Phenom 100 features a distinctive double-bubble fuselage cross-section that maximizes interior volume for its class, along with a Garmin G1000 avionics suite. The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F turbofan engines mounted on the rear fuselage. An upgraded variant, the Phenom 100E, was introduced with improved avionics and enhanced performance. The Phenom 100 has been popular with charter operators, flight training organizations, and private owners worldwide. Its low operating costs relative to larger jets, combined with solid performance and a modern cockpit, have made it one of the more successful VLJs in the market.
