Santa Barbara Airlines was a Venezuelan carrier that operated domestic and regional international services. The airline served numerous destinations within Venezuela as well as select routes to neighboring countries in South America and the Caribbean. Founded in the 1990s, the airline grew to become one of Venezuela's notable mid-sized carriers, competing in a market alongside state-owned and other private airlines. It operated a mixed fleet serving both business and leisure travelers. The airline faced significant challenges due to Venezuela's turbulent economic and political environment in the 2010s. Like many Venezuelan private carriers, it ultimately ceased operations amid the country's economic crisis, fuel shortages, and regulatory difficulties.
