Lake Clifton Airstrip

Lake Clifton Airstrip is a small general aviation facility located near Lake Clifton, a coastal town situated south of Mandurah in the Peel region of Western Australia. The airstrip serves local private and recreational flying needs in the area. The facility lacks scheduled commercial airline services and is not equipped with a passenger terminal. It primarily supports light aircraft operations consistent with the rural and semi-rural character of the surrounding region. Lake Clifton itself is known for its thrombolites, ancient living rock formations found in the lake, making the broader area a nature tourism destination, though the airstrip plays a limited role in that tourism infrastructure.
