Crab Claw Island Landing Ground

Crab Claw Island Landing Ground is a small, remote airstrip located near Bynoe in the Northern Territory of Australia. It serves the sparsely populated coastal area around Crab Claw Island, which lies in Darwin Harbour's outer reaches, primarily supporting light general aviation and private access. The facility carries the informal ICAO designator AU-0127 and has no IATA code assigned, reflecting its status as a minor, non-commercial landing ground. It is not served by scheduled airline services and functions primarily to provide access to an otherwise difficult-to-reach island environment. Given its remote location and limited infrastructure, the landing ground is typical of many small bush airstrips found throughout the Northern Territory, serving stations, tourism ventures, or private landholders rather than the general travelling public.
