Big Sand Lake Airport

Big Sand Lake Airport (ICAO: CJQ9) is a small, remote aerodrome located in northern Manitoba, Canada, serving the community of Big Sand Lake. It functions primarily as a fly-in facility, as the community lacks road access to the broader provincial highway network. The airport supports essential air services typical of remote northern Manitoba communities, including charter flights, medevac operations, and the delivery of supplies and personnel. It plays a vital role in connecting residents to larger urban centres and essential services.
