Chambéry Aix les Bains airport

Chambéry Aix-les-Bains Airport (CMF/LFLB) is a regional airport located in the Savoie department of southeastern France, serving the city of Chambéry and the surrounding Alpine region. It sits at an elevation of approximately 779 feet (237 metres) above sea level. The airport is a significant seasonal hub, particularly during the winter ski season, connecting the region to major European cities and providing access to world-renowned ski resorts such as Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens, and the Three Valleys. Charter and low-cost operations increase substantially from December through April. During the summer, scheduled and leisure traffic serves destinations across Europe, though activity is considerably reduced compared to the peak winter period. The airport is operated by the Chambéry Airport authority and handles around 300,000–400,000 passengers in a typical year.
