Hangzhou Jianqiao Airport

Hangzhou Jianqiao Airport is a military and general aviation airfield located in the Gongshu District of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. It is one of China's oldest airfields, with roots dating back to the early 20th century, and has historically served both military and limited civilian purposes. The airport is distinct from Hangzhou's primary commercial gateway, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, which handles the bulk of passenger and cargo traffic for the city. Jianqiao has been used for military training, general aviation, and light aircraft operations over the decades. With Hangzhou's continued urban expansion and the growth of Xiaoshan International Airport, Jianqiao's role has remained largely secondary, focused on non-commercial aviation activities.
