Náměšť Air Base

Náměšť Air Base (ICAO: LKNA) is a military airfield located near the town of Náměšť nad Oslavou in the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic. It serves as one of the primary active air bases of the Czech Air Force and has historically been associated with fighter and ground-attack aviation units. The base is home to the 211th Tactical Air Force Squadron, which operates the Saab JAS 39 Gripen under a lease agreement with Sweden. It plays a significant role in NATO air policing and collective defense commitments undertaken by the Czech Republic. As a military installation, Náměšť Air Base is not open to commercial air traffic and has no civilian passenger facilities. It occasionally participates in open days and air shows, giving the public limited access to the facility.
