RAF Lossiemouth is a Royal Air Force base located near the town of Lossiemouth on the Moray coast of northeastern Scotland. It serves as one of the UK's most operationally significant military airfields, home to multiple front-line fast-jet squadrons and maritime patrol aircraft. The station houses Typhoon FGR4 aircraft operated by several RAF squadrons, as well as the Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, making it a hub for both air defence and maritime reconnaissance operations.
