Tetiaroa Airport

Tetiaroa Airport is a small private airstrip located on Tetiaroa, a coral atoll in French Polynesia situated approximately 53 kilometers north of Tahiti. The atoll is famous for its association with actor Marlon Brando, who acquired it in the 1960s and it is now home to The Brando, an exclusive luxury eco-resort. The airport primarily serves private charter flights and resort transfers, operating as a restricted facility not open to general commercial aviation. Access is tightly controlled, with flights typically arranged through The Brando resort for its guests. Given the remote and ecologically sensitive nature of the atoll, the airstrip is kept intentionally limited in scale to minimize environmental impact, consistent with the resort's strong sustainability mission.
