Kanpur Civil Airport, designated with ICAO code VIKA, is a small civil aerodrome located in Kanpur, one of the largest industrial cities in Uttar Pradesh, India. The airport has historically served limited scheduled and non-scheduled operations, functioning primarily as a general aviation and occasional charter facility.
Kanpur is now primarily served by Chakeri Airport (ICAO: VAKN), which handles the city's commercial passenger traffic. The old civil airport at VIKA has seen reduced relevance as aviation infrastructure in the region was consolidated at Chakeri. The facility's current operational status is limited.
