Accommodation Location & Transport

Komodo Airport (LBJ) is located very close to Labuan Bajo town — most properties in town are reachable in 10–20 minutes by ojek (motorcycle taxi) or car, making airport proximity a minor concern for most accommodation choices.

Labuan Bajo town centre is walkable for most accommodation, restaurants, and dive operator departure points. Hillside properties above the harbour typically require a short ojek or car ride and are not practical to reach on foot, especially in heat.

There is no public bus or rail network serving the park itself. All access to Komodo, Rinca, Padar, and surrounding islands is by boat — either organised tours departing daily from Labuan Bajo harbour, or liveaboard vessels. Your accommodation in Labuan Bajo will not affect access to the park meaningfully, as all boats depart from the same general harbour area.

Family & Group Accommodation
