It began its operations on 4 June 2012 on medium and long-haul routes from Singapore, predominantly to various airports throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Scoot's airline slogan is Make Each Journey Better. The airline is part of the KrisFlyer frequent-flyer program. Previously, it was a member of the Value Alliance. Its head office is at Changi Airport, and its focus city is the Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan.
