Jetstar Pacific

Jetstar Pacific Airlines, operating as Pacific Airlines, is a Vietnamese low-cost carrier that has been a significant player in the country's aviation market. Originally founded as Pacific Airlines in 1991, the airline underwent several ownership and branding changes before becoming a Jetstar Group affiliate and adopting the Jetstar Pacific name. The airline operates domestic routes across Vietnam as well as select international services within the Asia-Pacific region. It has served as one of the primary low-cost alternatives to Vietnam Airlines on popular Vietnamese domestic corridors. In 2020, Vietnam Airlines increased its stake in the carrier, and the airline began transitioning back to the Pacific Airlines brand as Qantas reduced its involvement in the Jetstar Group partnership. The rebranding reflected a broader strategic shift in the Vietnamese aviation market.
