Air Sinai

Air Sinai is an Egyptian airline established as a subsidiary of EgyptAir, operating limited scheduled services primarily between Cairo and Tel Aviv. It was created in the aftermath of the Egypt-Israel peace treaty to facilitate air travel between the two countries while allowing EgyptAir to maintain some political distance from the sensitive route. The airline operates with a very small fleet and minimal public presence, intentionally keeping a low profile given the political sensitivities surrounding Egyptian-Israeli relations. It does not prominently market itself and lacks a conventional consumer-facing brand image. Despite its quiet operation, Air Sinai has played a historically significant role as one of the few carriers maintaining direct air links between Egypt and Israel for decades, reflecting the enduring but often strained peace between the two nations.
