Embraer 170

The Embraer 170 is a narrow-body regional jet developed by Brazilian manufacturer Embraer as part of the E-Jets family. Launched in the late 1990s and entering service in 2004, it was designed to fill a gap in the market between turboprops and larger mainline jets, offering airline-standard comfort in a smaller airframe. The aircraft features a wide cabin for its class, with a 2-2 seating configuration that eliminates the dreaded middle seat common on regional jets.
