TAME (Transportes Aéreos Militares Ecuatorianos) was Ecuador's state-owned national airline, founded in 1962 and originally operated under the umbrella of the Ecuadorian Air Force. Over the decades, it grew to become the largest domestic carrier in Ecuador, serving major cities within the country as well as select international destinations in South America and the United States. The airline operated routes to the Galápagos Islands, which were among its most strategically important services, given the islands' significance to Ecuadorian tourism and conservation. TAME also served international destinations including Miami, Bogotá, Lima, and Caracas at various points in its history. Facing severe financial difficulties exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and years of accumulated debt, TAME suspended operations in April 2020 and was officially liquidated. Its closure left a significant gap in Ecuador's domestic aviation market, which was subsequently filled by private carriers.

TAME or TAME EP Linea Aerea del Ecuador was an airline founded in Ecuador in 1962. TAME was the flag carrier and the largest airline of Ecuador. TAME headquarters were in Quito, Pichincha Province and the main hub was Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito. The airline was formed by the Air Force of Ecuador. In 2011, it became a commercial entity and provided domestic, international and charter flights. On May 20, 2020, the Ecuadorean government decided to cease all operations and liquidate the airline.
