Air Canada

Air Canada is the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada, serving over 220 destinations across six continents. Founded in 1937 as Trans-Canada Air Lines, it was rebranded as Air Canada in 1965 and has grown into one of North America's major carriers. The airline operates an extensive domestic network across Canada while maintaining a strong international presence, particularly across the North Atlantic and transpacific routes. Air Canada is a founding member of Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance, enabling it to offer passengers connectivity to hundreds of additional destinations worldwide. Air Canada went through a significant restructuring and emerged from creditor protection in 2004, subsequently rebuilding its brand and fleet. It launched its low-cost subsidiary Air Canada Rouge in 2013 and operates Air Canada Express regional services through partner carriers. The airline is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
