Air Philippines

Air Philippines was a low-cost domestic airline based in the Philippines, operating scheduled passenger services to destinations across the Philippine archipelago. Founded in 1995, it positioned itself as a budget-friendly carrier serving routes between major and secondary cities throughout the country. The airline operated as a subsidiary of Philippine Airlines Holdings and became closely tied to its parent company's operations over the years. Air Philippines was known for providing affordable air travel to Filipinos at a time when domestic aviation was expanding rapidly. In 2013, Air Philippines was merged into PAL Express (formerly Airphil Express), consolidating the Philippine Airlines group's regional and domestic operations under a single brand. The merger effectively ended the Air Philippines brand after nearly two decades of service.
