Overview
Important Correction for Travelers
Halkidiki Peninsula does not exist in Albania. Halkidiki (also spelled Chalkidiki or Halkidiki) is a three-pronged peninsula located in the Thessaloniki regional unit of northern Greece, not in Albania. These are two separate countries with distinct geographies, languages, currencies, and entry requirements.
Publishing fabricated destination information for a place that does not exist would be harmful to real travelers. Instead, we recommend the following:
- If you are looking for Halkidiki, refer to guides for Halkidiki, Greece (Kassandra, Sithonia, and Athos peninsulas).
- If you are looking for coastal Albania, consider destinations such as the Albanian Riviera (Sarandë, Himara, Dhërmi), Vlorë, or the Karaburun Peninsula.
- If you encountered a source describing 'Halkidiki, Albania,' that source contains a factual error and should not be relied upon for travel planning.
TravelerPulse is committed to publishing only accurate, verifiable destination information. We do not create guides for places that do not exist.
