Getting into Laocheng

From Luoyang Longmen Station, city buses and taxis connect to the Laocheng district. The journey takes approximately 20–40 minutes depending on traffic. Confirm current bus routes locally or at the station, as urban transit lines are updated periodically. Ride-hailing via Didi is a practical alternative.

Laocheng itself is walkable at its core. The historic lanes — including Dongguan Zheng街 and surrounding hutong-style alleys — are best explored on foot, as vehicles have limited access in some older sections.
