Editorial Correction: Batangas City is in the Philippines, Not Japan
Batangas City does not exist in Japan. Batangas City is the capital of the province of Batangas, located in the CALABARZON region (Region IV-A) of Luzon, the Philippines. It is a major port city on Batangas Bay, roughly 110 kilometres south of Manila.
Publishing a guide describing Batangas City as being in Japan would provide travelers with fundamentally inaccurate information — including wrong visa requirements, wrong currency, wrong language, wrong emergency numbers, and wrong transportation logistics — all of which could cause real harm to real travelers.
We have not generated a fabricated guide. If you are looking for:
- Batangas City, Philippines — we can write that guide accurately.
- A city in Japan — please provide the correct city name and we will produce an accurate guide.
Please resubmit your request with the correct country, and our editorial team will produce a full, accurate destination guide.
