There is no place called Mont Saint-Michel in Jersey (the U.S. state) or in any U.S. state. Mont Saint-Michel is a UNESCO World Heritage tidal island and commune located in Normandy, France, near the border with Brittany. It sits in the bay shared between the French departments of Manche and Ille-et-Vilaine.
It is possible you may be thinking of one of the following:
- Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy, France — the famous medieval abbey and tidal island, one of France's most visited landmarks.
- Jersey (the Channel Island bailiwick, Crown Dependency of the United Kingdom) — which lies in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy. Mont Saint-Michel is clearly visible from parts of Jersey on a clear day, but it is not located there.
