Aeromar

Aeromar, formally known as Transportes Aeromar, was a Mexican regional airline that operated scheduled passenger and cargo services across Mexico and select international destinations. Founded in 1987, the carrier built a reputation as one of Mexico's key regional operators, linking smaller cities to major hubs and serving routes underserved by larger carriers. The airline primarily operated turboprop aircraft, making it well-suited for shorter regional routes and airports with limited infrastructure. Aeromar served destinations throughout Mexico as well as some routes to the United States. Aeromar ceased operations in February 2023 after facing severe financial difficulties, including the economic pressures brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Its closure marked the end of over three decades of regional aviation service in Mexico.
