Zest Air was a Philippine low-cost carrier that operated domestic routes across the Philippine archipelago. Founded as Asian Spirit, the airline was rebranded to Zest Air in 2011 under new ownership, aiming to expand its budget airline operations. The airline faced significant operational and financial challenges, including safety concerns that led to a temporary suspension of flights by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) in 2013. Following these difficulties, Zest Air entered into a commercial partnership with AirAsia Philippines. By 2014, Zest Air was effectively absorbed into AirAsia Philippines, with the two carriers merging their operations. The Zest Air brand was retired, and its routes and assets were consolidated under the AirAsia Philippines banner.
