Kuala Lumpur International Airport is the main international airport of Malaysia. Despite its name, it is not located within Kuala Lumpur, but rather in the Sepang District of Selangor, approximately 45 km (28 mi) south of the city, serving its greater conurbation. KLIA is the largest and busiest airport in the country and a regional megahub for Southeast Asia. In 2025, it handled 63.3 million passengers, ranking as the 20th-busiest airport by total passenger traffic.
