Del Caribe Santiago Mariño International Airport, designated by IATA code PMV and ICAO code SVMG, serves Isla Margarita, Venezuela's largest and most visited Caribbean island. The airport is named after Santiago Mariño, a prominent Venezuelan independence hero born on Margarita Island. The airport handles both domestic routes connecting Margarita to Caracas and other Venezuelan cities, as well as international charter and scheduled flights.
