Safi Airways was an Afghan private airline founded in 2006, operating scheduled international passenger services from Kabul. The airline was one of the few privately owned carriers in Afghanistan and served routes connecting Kabul to destinations in the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe.
The airline suspended operations in 2016 amid financial difficulties and the challenging operating environment in Afghanistan. It was founded by the Safi Group, a prominent Afghan conglomerate with interests across multiple industries. Despite efforts to resume services, the airline did not return to regular operations.
