Douglas-Charles Airport, formerly known as Melville Hall Airport, is the principal international airport serving the Commonwealth of Dominica. Located on the northeastern coast near Marigot, it handles the majority of the island's commercial air traffic and is the primary point of entry for visitors arriving by air. The airport was renamed in 2014 in honor of two Dominican national heroes, Dame Eugenia Charles and Roosevelt Douglas, both former prime ministers. Its runway accommodates mid-size jet aircraft, enabling direct regional connections that were not possible under its earlier configuration. Despite upgrades over the years, the airport's remote location relative to the capital Roseau means passengers face a significant overland journey of roughly 90 minutes to reach the main population center. A second smaller airstrip, Canefield Airport, serves light aircraft closer to Roseau.

Douglas–Charles Airport, formerly known as Melville Hall Airport, is an airport located on the northeast coast of Dominica, 2 mi (3.2 km) northwest of Marigot. It is about one hour away from the second largest city Portsmouth. It is one of only two airports in the island nation of Dominica, the other being Canefield Airport located three miles (5 km) northeast of Roseau.
