Kristiansund, Norway
Kristiansund Airport, Kvernberget (IATA: KSU, ICAO: ENKB) is a regional airport serving Kristiansund, a coastal city in Møre og Romsdal county on Norway's west coast. The airport sits on the island of Kvernberget and handles domestic traffic connecting the region to major Norwegian hubs. The airport plays an important role for the local oil and gas industry, with helicopter services to offshore installations in the Norwegian Sea supplementing fixed-wing passenger operations. Avinor, the Norwegian state-owned airport operator, manages the facility. Despite its relatively modest size, Kristiansund Airport provides a vital link for residents of the surrounding municipality, reducing travel times that would otherwise require navigating the region's complex fjord geography by road or ferry.
