Entebbe International Airport (EBB/HUEN) is the main international airport serving Uganda, located in the town of Entebbe approximately 40 kilometres south of the capital, Kampala. Situated on a peninsula extending into Lake Victoria, it is one of the few airports in the world with a lakeside setting, sitting at an elevation of about 3,782 feet above sea level. The airport serves as the hub for Uganda Airlines and handles the majority of Uganda's international air traffic, connecting the country to destinations across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. It has undergone significant infrastructure upgrades in recent years, including expansion of the passenger terminal and improvements to airside facilities. Entebbe gained international notoriety from the 1976 hostage crisis, in which Israeli commandos conducted a daring rescue operation known as Operation Entebbe or Operation Thunderbolt. Today the airport is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda and continues to grow as East Africa's aviation sector expands.

Entebbe International Airport is the only international airport in Uganda. It is located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) southwest of the town of Entebbe, on the northern shores of Lake Victoria. This is approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) by road south-west of the central business district of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
