Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport (IATA: DKR, ICAO: GOOY) is the primary international airport serving Dakar, the capital of Senegal. Named after Léopold Sédar Senghor, Senegal's first president and renowned poet, the airport has long been one of the busiest aviation hubs in West Africa. The airport is located on the Dakar Peninsula, just a few kilometres from the city centre, making it one of the most centrally positioned major airports in Africa. Its proximity to downtown Dakar contributed to congestion and capacity limitations over the decades. In December 2017, Senegal opened the new Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) approximately 50 km southeast of Dakar, which was intended to replace Léopold Sédar Senghor as the main international gateway. Commercial operations formally transferred to the new airport in 2017, significantly reducing traffic at DKR.

Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport is an international freight and former passenger airport serving Dakar, the capital of Senegal. The airport is situated near the town of Yoff, a northern suburb of Dakar. It was known as Dakar-Yoff International Airport until 9 October 1996, when it was renamed in honor of Léopold Sédar Senghor (1906–2001), the first president of Senegal.
