Mineralnye Vody Airport (IATA: MRV, ICAO: URMM) is the principal commercial airport serving the Caucasian Mineral Waters region of southern Russia, including the spa cities of Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Essentuki, and Zheleznovodsk. It is located approximately 5 kilometres from the city of Mineralnyye Vody in Stavropol Krai. The airport handles a significant volume of domestic traffic, particularly from Moscow, and serves as an important hub for travel to the North Caucasus. It is one of the busiest airports in southern Russia and has undergone modernisation efforts to expand capacity and improve passenger facilities. Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and associated airspace restrictions, many international routes have been suspended since 2022, and the airport currently operates primarily domestic services.
