Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport is the primary international airport serving the Romanian capital, Bucharest. Located near the town of Otopeni, approximately 16 kilometres north of the city centre, it is the largest and busiest airport in Romania by passenger traffic. The airport is named after Romanian aviation pioneer Henri Coandă, inventor of the Coandă effect and one of the early figures in jet propulsion research. It handles the vast majority of Romania's international air traffic and serves as the main hub for TAROM, the national carrier. Following significant expansion and modernisation in the 2000s, the airport operates two passenger terminals and handles tens of millions of passengers in peak years. It connects Bucharest to major European, Middle Eastern, and intercontinental destinations.

The airport operates two terminals: Terminal 1 handles a portion of flights while the larger Terminal 2, opened in 2012, handles the bulk of international and domestic passenger traffic.

Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, also known as Bucharest Otopeni Airport, is Romania's busiest international airport, located in Otopeni, 16.5 km (10.3 mi) north of Bucharest's city centre. In 2025, the airport handled over 17 million passengers. It covers 605 hectares of land and contains two parallel runways, both 3,500 metres (11,500 ft) long. It is one of the two airports serving the capital of Romania, the other being the smaller Băneasa Aurel Vlaicu Airport, located within the city.
